I’m a former broadcaster who, during the 80s, 90s and 00s, hosted morning radio shows in St. Louis, Jacksonville, Dallas and Philadelphia.

I’m a graduate of the University of Alabama where I majored in Broadcast and Film Communication.

Some general thoughts about movies:

A movie and a book are two totally different things.

Movies are better in theaters than on home TV screens. But when watching at home, I can often use on-screen captions which help me comprehend dialogue that may be mumbled or buried by music.

I’m happy that movie houses have much better seating than they did a decade or two ago.

I appreciate the efforts of actors and crew when it is obvious that they’ve put a lot of work into a particular project. Even if the finished product turns out to be subpar.

Even though Argylle has a mediocre 5.6 rating on IMDB, I liked it!
